Wilmot Orchards Inc. offers seasonal employment; helping to look after the blueberries; working in the Appleberries Cafe; assisting and directing customers in the blueberry patch.

Working with us is intense seasonal work, with the joys of meeting people and being out in the fresh air and sunshine.

We work hard; we have fun; and we take pride in our blueberries and the benefit they are to our customers. Many blueberry pickers come back year after year; they are like friends and family. We endeavour to create an enjoyable atmosphere in everything we do so that customers have a good experience.

There is a great deal of understanding required to carry on a successful 'pick-you-own-farm'. At Wilmot Orchards, blueberry picking is treated as not only picking blueberries, but as a delightful experience that customers will remember long after they've eaten the last berry they've picked.

Wilmot Orchards, a winner of the Oshawa/ Clarington Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award, believes in the philosophy that,

With that in mind, we have just completed construction of a new 1400 sq. ft. architecturally designed retail outlet complete with a patio cafe to further enhance our customers experience.

We strive to give our customers a welcoming and enjoyable experience when purchasing or picking their own blueberries from our 20 acre highbush blueberry patch.

For several years, we have offered our own freshly baked, from scratch, 'Appleberries Signature' items, featuring our own blueberries.

Blueberries have recently been recognized as the "Miracle Berry", emerging as nature's number one source of antioxidants among fresh fruits and vegetables. Research suggests that blueberries may reverse the aging process, enhance memory and improve eyesight. To expand on this concept, we plan to continue to find innovative ways of using blueberries in healthful and delightful desserts.

Are you creative with a keen interest in adding to your resume? We are looking for skilled individuals, for summer employment, who are able to consistently produce tried and true signature items.

You are also able to think "outside the box" and would like to assist us in developing new and imaginative recipes for our products. Hours will be flexible and varied. If interested please submit a resume.
