The Wilmot Orchards Team Ride in support of Princess Margaret Hospital

Pictured above just after finishing their ride, are Charles and Robbie. ...“We are So Proud of You !”
Congratulations to Charles and Robbie for completing the first ever 2008 Ride to Conquer Cancer in support of the Princess Margaret Hospital! The 212 km. ride took place over 2 days beginning in Toronto and ending up in Niagara Falls. 2,850 participants raised 14 million dollars making this event the largest cycling fundraiser in Canadian history. After completing the ride, Charles commented that …” this gave me one of the most physical and emotional challenges of my life!”
Why do we ride?
Because our sweat
Is nothing compared to their tears,
Because our challenge
Is nothing compared to their fight.
Because we are all on one journey,
With one destination, one goal:
To conquer cancer in our lifetime.
