Welcome from the Stevens Family and Staff!

We would like to thank all our customers for a great 2011 blueberry season, see you back next year.

Plan to have a treat too... Luscious memories are made at Appleberries Cafe: Our own Blueberry Organic Ice Cream in 2 litre take home containers.  The café is also offering two new desserts; Blueberry white chocolate shortbread cookies and Blueberry Mousse cream puffs along with our signature favourites, especially our famous cheesecake with blueberry sauce.

Appleberries Cafe also has many of our traditional blueberry gift items for you to purchase. Courtney has also selected some of her favourite original art-photographs which can make a lovely addition to your home decor.

We do have organic ice cream cones made with spelt flour for a healthy choice. (Please note: ice cream cones are not gluten free and our ready baked goods are not gluten free.)

The price per pound for You-Pick is $2.35 /lb.

We will be happy to weigh your own containers before you enter the blueberry patch, or we have 4 Litre plastic containers available for sale. (wooden baskets not included or for sale) Lids are also provided for a nominal additional charge if you wish to have them.

Be sure and stop in for a refreshing cold drink, hot tea or ice cream or other sweet treat at Appleberries Cafe 

Please remember we have 2 blueberry patches, one to the west and one to the east of Appleberries.

High fibre Blueberries are rich in Vitamins; A, C, E & beta-carotene plus the minerals; potassium, manganese & magnesium. They contain the antioxidants: Anthocyanins, proanthocyanins, chlorogenic acid, Pterostilbene and Ellagic acid.  There are current studies showing the possibility that blueberries help the eyes, prevent urinary tract infections, lower cholesterol, protect against macular degeneration, and aid the cardiovascular system.

Payment is accepted only by cash, or cheque (with ID), please note: we cannot accept debit cards, visa or MasterCard.

At Wilmot Orchards, we make sure that you get the very best berries. When you come to pick just ask our staff for directions to the best rows for picking.

Wilmot Orchards Blueberry picking season usually starts late July and ends Labour Day weekend depending on weather and crop conditions.

A day at Wilmot Orchards for - Pick your own Blueberries is always a treat. Many of our customers come back year after year and pick enough to eat and also to freeze or make jam, so come early.  Children accompanied by adults are welcome. Our berries are usually easy picking, high bush and 8 varieties. Blueberry season starts late July ends Labour Day. Small wagons are provided for your convenience.
